Here is the main idea of that new topic:
I would like to launch a process of another user without typing the
password by hand.
Usually, what you do is: su <myuser> -c '<myprocess>'
and then you type the password and you're done: the process <myprocess>
is launched with the user <myuser>.
But I'd like to not type that password by hand. The password can be
stored in a file or given as argument or sthg similar.
(I know I can use "sudo" to do that but I'd like to launch that without
using sudo)
Looks like that the "su" command calls a "scanf()" function to get the
password..maybe it's possible
to make a kernel call to send that password directly to this command.
Does anyone know how to do that or using another way?
