Gcc -m32/-m64 foobar.c
Hm...I need to set up a cross compilation environment for compiling
the kernel, along with some external modules and applications. I need
a full fledged tool chain, rather than gcc's ability to create 32/64
bit executable.
I have not tested passing CFLAGS= to the kernel command line. But when
I did it, it was a failure. Moreover, I would have to pass
LDFLAGS...etc which can be avoided if we have a full tool chain.
Anyway, I received help from Randy Dunlap, it is here..

Thanks for help,
regards,
Om.
