Hi, Is "wait_event_interruptible_timeout" a IPC mechanism ?
its not IPC mechanism, rather its a synrconisation mechanism. It will put the execution thread to sleep till one of the things do not occur: - 'timeout' period expires - thread receives a signal - event its waiting for occured, event should wake up the thread from waitqueue its waiting on. regards, Gaurav
I have used it in Receive blocking call. What could be the correct IPC mechanism used in receive blocking call ? Regards, Munees.
