serial port driver - testing flow control?

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

I have enabled hardware flow control for the serial port (say /dev/ttyS0). I need to test whether the flow control is actually being carried on by the driver to the end device using the serial port.

So can somebody suggest me how I can test this? i.e., see if the flow control actually takes place between the OS (serial port driver) and the serial port device?
