What do you mean by saying "If __you__ wanted to measure response time" ?  :)

Can you please more elaborate what you want to ask ? Are you talking
about user space process or in kernel space process/thread? And what
do you mean by input and first response by process ?  And also what do
you mean by first context switch/interrupt or so ?
