Just trying to understand the purpose of the kbuild make target "modules_perpare".
Is it required? When is it needed? I have noticed that it is not used
that often at all (e.g. the sillymod.tar.gz from the kernelnewbie FAQ).
the kbuild doc only mentions it briefly.
