Hello,
I had tried to configure a Linux 2.6.11 on x386, after downloading it.
I ran "make menuconfig" and seleced what I need.
I don't see also the zlib_deflate module under /lib/modules/kernerl_version/lib, and
my kernel hangs at boot (I suppose maybe because of it).
I did not see anywhere in the .config file a ZLIB_DEFLATE option ; shouldn't it be there ?
(even when it is not set is should say "ZLIB_DEFLATE not set")
If I am not wrong it was in older versions of linux kenrels.
Any idea?
TIA,
John
