I found the reason of the error:

Here is the error. Sorry , i was not at my box and did not have it right
away.

It boils down to the fact that kernel 2.6.10 does not compile with gcc 4.0.
Or atleast my patch kernel, not sure how universily true this is.
( http://lists.debian.org/debian-kernel/2005/08/msg00781.html ). Also 2.6.11
seems to suffer from this.
