as suggested i've changed the grub.conf. i've changed it as: title Test Linux WS (2.4.21-4.EL) root (hd0,5) kernel /testlinuz ro root=/dev/hda7 initrd /initrd-new.img now while booting i'm getting errors as: depmod:unresolved symbols..... insmod failed modprobe failed __________________________________ Yahoo!
