OK I figured that I need to do: prelink -r _base_address_ _library_ changing /lib/tls/libc.so.6 to 0x00585000 was easy. When I tried to move /lib/ld-linux.so.2 to 0x0056c000 (as it is on my other machine). Things started to go wrong (to say the least :). the machine didn't even boot. I recovered the previous location of ld-linux.so.2, but still it is stuck in the middle of the address space. How can I relocate ld-linux.so.2, and still have linux run? Thanks, Hayim.
