Hi Verma,
  You need to have a kernel with NTFS file system support either
compiled into the
kernel or as a module. If this not be the case, then you need to build
a kernel image with NTFS File system enabled and boot from it.
If /dev/hda1 is NTFS partition, you can use as mount -t ntfs /dev/hda1
/mnt. (-t ntfs is optional)
For 2.4 kernels, NTFS support is read only and for 2.6 kernels there
is only an experimental support for overwriting existing files in
addition to the read support.
