What will happen if forgot to allow_write_access()?

Hello,

What will happen if I forgot to allow_write_access() and fput()?
The kernel 2.6.9 has this bug. (From 2.6.10 are OK.)
http://www.cs.wisc.edu/~vikas/lxr/http/source/fs/exec.c#L1113
http://lxr.linux.no/source/fs/exec.c?v=2.6.10#L1118

I made a private patch for 2.6.9 and applied the patch
to a customer's system for 2.6.11, so the patch inherited this bug.
I have to explain what will happen to the customer.
For example,
(A) Cannot replace executable files by 'rpm -Uvh'.
(B) Causes memory leak.
(C) Nothing harmful.

Best regards...
