Hi all,
i´m compiling the kernel 2.6.11.7 and i get the message on compile time:
...
Root Device is (3,3)
Boot Sector 512 bytes
Setup  is 2810 bytes
System is 1961 KB
...

when i choose that kernel in boot manager (grub), i recept the message:

Kernel Panic: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknown-block (3,3)

i think that message in compilation is related with this kernel panic,
but i dont get any idea about resolve this kernel panic. my grub is
configured as below:

title linux 2.6.1.7
       root (hd0,2)
       kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.11.7 root/dev/hda3 ro
