since nobody who knows has answered, guesses must be ok :-O

for my curiosity, i grep-r'd for bus_reset, device_reset.
found mostly/all scsi stuff, usb stuff.

you might look at the PCI config-space words for the card
see REBOOTFIXUPS (12-mm) for an example that reboots one specific system.
