On kernel.org, what is 2.6.12-rc4-git7

I was just looking at kernel.org's front page and I see an entry I
don't remember.

In this case, 2.6.12-rc4-git7, with today's date associated with it.

Is this a list of patches since 2.6.12-rc4 that have been accepted by
Linus and/or Andrew, but not yet part of a rc?

FYI: The reason I'm asking is James Bottomly sent a large patch to the
SCSI sub-system to Linus last week and I was trying to figure out if
it had been accepted.

Thanks
