I have configured 2.6.5 suse enterprise kernel with oprofile support. I am able to insert oprofile module # modprobe -v oprofile insmod /lib/modules/2.6.5-7.97-smp/kernel/arch/i386/oprofile/oprofile.ko # lsmod | grep oprofile oprofile 37280 0 as per the doc http://www.novell.com/coolsolutions/feature/11789.html I need to use "opcontrol", but I can't find opcontrol binary on the system. Since the system already has the module, the binary should also be there.
