Problem with RLIMIT_MEMLOCK

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

How can a process set its mlock() limit to unlimited? I already did "ulimit -l unlimited" as root, but when I call getrlimit(), it returns 32KB. My process can't call setrlimit() because it doesn't have root privileges. I have an application that needs to lock down tens of megabytes of RAM, and I was hoping the user-space mlock() changes in 2.6.10 would solve my problems.
