Gprof or oprofile.

Gprof is a userspace program used to profile userspace. It needs a
little help from gcc in order to work. Oprofile is included in
linux-2.6 and can be used to profile both kernel and userspace.

I don't know what the "best profiler" is, it all depends on your
requirements. As for websites: google is your friend...
