Hi,
I tried to boot the 2.6.10 kernel after making some
changes to it in .config. I got the "All of your
loopback devices are in use" error, as shown.

sh /usr/src/linux-2.6.10/arch/i386/boot/install.sh
2.6.10 arch/i386/boot/bzImage System.map ""
All of your loopback devices are in use.
mkinitrd failed
make[1]: *** [install] Error 1
make: *** [install] Error 2

I am on a Dell poweredge 2300, P3. By the way losetup
did not work.

help required!
Sai
