Reading Outgoing Packets

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi,

I am writing an application which receives PPPoE packets
from external source and from another process running in the
same PC. I cant read the outgoing packets sent by same PC when i set the protocol specific to PPPoE and can do this when i set the protocol to ETH_P_ALL. But this adds overhead of filtering the PPPoE packets.

I had seen the tcpdump source code which is
doing the same thing.

Any pointer regarding this.
