Hello, I want to check out the latest Linux kernel source from a repository. I know that the source is maintained in a Bitkeeper repos since a while but in the kernel.org FAQ there are listed one CVS and one SVN repos: BitKeeper: bk://linux.bkbits.net/linux-2.[45] CVS: :pserver:anonymous@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx:/home/cvs/linux-2.[45] RSYNC: rsync.kernel.org::pub/scm/linux/kernel/bkcvs/linux-2.[45]/ Subversion: svn://svn.kernel.org/linux-2.[46]/trunk So it should be possible to use SVN or CVS to checkout, too. But the two named repos reports a "Connection refused". My question: Is this documentation not up-to-date? Are there now other URLs for SVN or CVS? Is it still possible to use SVN or CVS? Thanks Markus -- Kernelnewbies: Help each other learn about the Linux kernel. Archive: http://mail.nl.linux.org/kernelnewbies/ FAQ: http://kernelnewbies.org/faq/
