Hello,
I want to use network connection in other kernels 2.4.24 and 2.4.26. I am able to use network functionality under 2.6.10 and 2.4.20-8. I check all kernels and all have 8139too module compiled and installed under /lib/modules/2.4.2(4/6).
As i told you what i did i have previously all kernels 2.4.24 and 2.4.26 and all working with 8139too. But when i install modutils and module-init for 2.6 kernel those kernels start to not function with 8139too and its not loaded also automatically as it previously before 2.6 kernel installed on my RH9.
Currently i have 2.4.24,2.4.20-8(default),2.4.26,2.6.10 kernels installed in which only workable with 8139too is 2.4.20-8 and 2.6.10
regards,
parag.
