Hi all, I'am searching documentation on direct io feature on Linux, but i haven't found details on it (only changelogs, mailing list threads, kernel patches and so on). - i would know what kernel parts is the responsability of supporting direct io? is it FS related or block devices related or both? - i would know if direct io is possible when using flash filesystem (via Linux MTD, jffs2, cramfs...).
