ext2 file system on hotpluggable usb stick.

Hi,
Anybody tried putting ext2 FS on a usb stick and make it hot pluggable?
I tried it. I could get the automatically mounting part OK. I mount it with -o sync. When I pull the usb stick out, I get the following messages. When I tried with vfat, there is no problem at all. Is it something like ext2 is not suitable for hotpluggable devices?
