The stupid maintainer of the server [1] moved the mail archives into its
own LV, forgetting that apache runs in a chroot. The same stupid admin did
test the site, but that was before he deleted the old directory. However,
he neglected to test after deleting.

However, after hitting the admin with a ClueBrick the online archives work
again. No mail has been lost, the mail is archived outside the chroot.
