Driver allocating virtual memory region

Hi,

I need my driver to allocate a VMA(struct vm_area_struct ) which will be then be mapped to a physical address(using
remap_page_range)

Basically, I want to implement a IOCTL in my driver which will map a PCI devices' IO space to the user address space of a process.

I cannot implement mmap function in the driver. I am using linux 2.4.20
Any way/ways of doing this ?

Thanks
Rajeev
