hi,
 The content of /proc/cmdline is the kernel parameters you pass during boot. 
for a test,
If you are using grub, type e on grub boot menu to see what grub
passes to the kernel. You can also add parameters. Boot and see the
/proc/cmdline. The output will exactly the same(proc doesn't show
kernel /vmlinux... because it is not a parameter to kernel but a
command to grub).
