Hi !!! Can anyone suggest for a good document or tutorial for understanding the difference between LVM1 and LVM2. Actually I know something.. The basic difference is that LVM2 contains a device mapper. Now i need to know that what is the importance and need of this device mapper. And also which one is better LVM1 or LVM2.
