 LINDEC - The developers meet of gnomebangalore
 (http://www.gnomebangalore.org) is being held this
 year on September
 25th at the PESIT Auditorium. The focus of the meet
 would be on
 Development for the Linux Desktop. It will also
 establish a general
 direction to the growth of Open Source development
 in India, pertaining
 to the Linux Desktop. 
 
 The meet features talks from eminent Open Source
 pioneers and developers
 including Nat Friedman(http://www.nat.org/). These
 talks would be a
 window to the Open Source movement in general and
 Linux Desktop
 Development specifically. LINDEC aims to provide a
 singular platform for
 the pioneers, the contributors and the wanabees of
 the OpenSource
 movement.
 
 The key highlights of the meet are:
         1. Product development, the Open Source way.
         2. Exploring the development frameworks and
 tools for the Linux
 Desktop
         3. Peek into a few of the widely used
desktop applications
         4. Interaction with the GNOME community
