Hi,
I need to implement a new system call (homework) and I would like to know if somebody has some suggestions. I have looked into the entry.S file, but no ideas come into my mind, once linux has almost all of them (at least the useful ones). If someone has already done something, please let me know, even if it is just the general idea.

Just adding an entry to entry.s is not enough. This page has the details
