Hi Jim,

It's expecting hex. I checked that. The weird think is that setting it to the same number yields different results.

First thought. Is your handler for your /proc file expecting hex or decimal numbers? Have you tried cat-ing your /proc file after writing to it to see if it contains what you expect?
