kernelnewbies.org status update

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

As many of you have noticed, the kernelnewbies.org site is currently
broken to a degree, and some things are still missing altogether (such
as the Wiki and the kernel source repository). Furthermore, the content
is suffering from a lack of updates.

Unforunately, the people who have spent a lot of time on the site are
currently too busy to help out restoring the site to its former glory.

We are therefore seeking motivated, Byzantine, spherical, chatty,
enterprise-ready slaves^Wvolunteers who might be able to help with the
site. In particular, we need somebody who's prepared to be a project
leader for the website.

The site is written in a horrific mish-mash of PHP and HTML, and hosted
on one of Rik van Riel's machines. Please don't ask either him or me for
any help beyond setting up admin stuff; we're both way too busy I'm
afraid.

Without a project leader, the site is basically going to stay in its
current state, which would be a pity.

regards,
john
