Re: deleting compiled versions of kernel

You should remove:
1) The entry from your loader's config file (lilo or grub)
2) The sources (say /usr/src/linux-version/)
3) The corresponding /boot/vmlinuz-version)
4) The corresponding /boot/System.map-version
5) The corresponding /lib/modules/version
