I have to compile the kernel for installing its version 2.4.18 for doing some work with it. But I have a problem, my network card is not recognized by the kernel and I have to install the driver with an insmod, is there any way to install the driver without having to recompile it again and obtain the object file (*.o). I actually have version 2.4.20-8 and when I built a custom version of this kernel I had to recompile the driver because it didn't appear for being inserted with insmod.
