No Module BusLogic Found for kernel 2.6.2

Hi guys,
                   After doing a bzImage for kerlnel 2.6.2 and after make modules , I did make modules_install, fine. And then make install ..its  gives this msg 

No Module BusLogic Found for kernel 2.6.2
and so no initrd can be created.

and  I bielieve that make dep is not necessary for 2.6.2 and why pliz.
