Hi Karthik, You can use register_chrdev() to register your device. To be able to talk to your PCI hardware you need to use provided PCI specific functions such as pci_find_device(), pci_read_config_XX, pci_write_config_XX, etc... pci_find_dev() returns pci_dev structure characterizing your PCI device. pci_read_config_XX and PCI_write_config_XX functions can be used to obtain BAR addresses and sizes to map memory or IO of your device and to get IRQ if needed.
