Hello - I tried compiling 2.6.0 on RH7.3. Now I know, that gcc 2.96 is not that good, so I installed 2.95 (according to the README file) - still won't compile (same errors). I patched the kernel a little bit and fixed the problem. However, I'm not really sure if I should submit this patch or not. Now I know that it's compiler issues because I managed to compile it with gcc 3.3, but friends here tell me why not send the patch if it works... Any suggestions?
