maximum file size

hi guys
I got a dbt in the filesize limitation in kernel. y is tht there is no
tree like structure in the inode so that the size of the inode remains
const and it scales nicely for the smaller size as well as larger sized
files. inode can just have the root of the tree so tht all the data
pointers can be stored at one place n the inodes in one place. with this
even the size of inode is maintained the same

got any solutions??!!

bye
a kernel lover
