Hi,all
I have downloaded linux-16.tar.gz and compiled the kernel and
installed it.
On my machine there originally exists a linux-2.4.20-18 kernel. It is
strange that
when I booted from the 16 kernel, "uname" told me that I was using
20-18 kernel.
What is the problem? In what way can I correctly judge which version I
am using?
Thank you very much.
Best,
melody
