Reboot after kernel crashes

Hi,
In Linux and windows system, if kernel OR process crashes, it does not reboot automatically. It waits for somebody to debug the problem and reboot. Hackers take advantage of this and get into the system If user process with root privileges crashes,Linux even gives fecility for remote debugging with root permissions.
To use linux in embeded devices like firewall whose aim is only security, security and security,this problem has to be rectified.
I will be thankful for the help to solve this problem and make linux the only OS for embeded systems.
