You can make your own realtime distro using RTLinux/Free.

It is a double-kernel technology to run Linux kernel as an idle thread of a 
realtime RTLinuix kernel. 

RTLinux has it's own raltime API for you to write realtime applications.

If you need any details - let me know. I will give you all the instructions 
for how to install and run rtlinux.
