2.5.70 and the likes

Hello!

I would like to know if anyone has already tried out some of the newest
development kernels.

They seem to be pretty huge (~38Mb bzip2 as of 2.5.70).

How do they run compared to the current 2.4.20 and 2.4.21?

Are they really faster?

What radically new are in there?

Thanks!

Artemio.
