No, I need something simpler from my point of view. I want to restart the computer without going throw a BIOS reset and then execute some code to boot another OS (whatever), imagine for example GRUB or LILO like Linux applications. Monte and kexec do something similar, but they can only boot another Linux kernel.
What bochs developers have done is amazing.

I pretend to boot an operating system from Linux, like boot loaders do. "Two kernel monte" and "kexec" are modules that can boot Linux from Linux,
they include code for switching to real mode or restore the PIC for
example. My first try was to adapt one of them, but this task seems too hard for
me.
Maybe you know of other projects that can boot OSes from Linux or people that are working on it. Other suggestions are very welcome.
