Booting an OS from Linux

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi,

I pretend to boot an operating system from Linux, like boot loaders do. "Two kernel monte" and "kexec" are modules that can boot Linux from Linux, they include code for switching to real mode or restore the PIC for example. My first try was to adapt one of them, but this task seems too hard for me.

Maybe you know of other projects that can boot OSes from Linux or people that are working on it. Other suggestions are very welcome.

Thanks in advance.
