Hie,
I am using Redhat linux ( kernel 2.4.18-3 )
my
query is :
1) it possible to unmount proc
filesystem
when i try to do
so;following is prompted
umount :
/proc:device is bizi
2) also is it possible to recompile the kernel without
"proc" support
i have tried this but the compile fails at "make modules" stage
i have come to believe that /proc
support is absolutely necessary:please clarify
