Hello I've subscribed (again, after a pretty long offline period) again to lkml, and I am seeing quite a few reports on 2.4.20-probelms, including Oopses (including some seen and reported by myself). A few of them seem to be IDE-related, but Alan Cox recently explained, that 2.4.20 doesn't have a "revamped IDE" code. Although, there are some IDE-updates in the Changelog. So, the question is - what's the status of 2.4.[18,19,20,21-pre...] IDE and other subsystems? I was delighted, when my problems with USB on 2.4.18 disappeared on 2.4.20, but then I got a few Oopses with a complete system hang with 2.4.20 too... Are 2.4.18 / 2.4.19 more stable, at least where they work, or has there been a similar number of Oops-reports in the days of their actuality?
