 Hi,
  Thanx for the response...I do think the same...do you have any idea why sbin/init is not started.      
Did I do any mistake in configuring before compile?

I've seen this before. If I remember correctly, the kernel is O.K. 
but your /sbin/init is in trouble. Basically, the kernel can't fire 
up /sbin/init, so it hangs there.

Hope my memory didn't screwed up. 8)
