CPU information.

Hi all,How's it going!?

I wanted to accces some cpu information...and was
wondering if there are any user APIs to do so.
Looking around in the kernel sources I figured out
during boot the kernel makes a software datastructure
which is basically a description of all the processor
features which are enabled/disabled.

I was wondering if there is any way to access this
datastructure from the user-space?

Specifically, I am interested in checking whether
hyperthreading has been enabled on my P4 processor.

Thanks!
