I downloaded linux kernel 2.4.10 version and compiled it. I copied the System.map and arch/i386/boot/bzImage files into /boot. Of course, I modified the lilo.conf. When I reboot my computer, the monitor screen only prints out "Linux " or "Linux ........." and then nothing responses. How to solve it? I am using Redhat 7.2 to compile the linux kernel.
