Hi I have a USB mouse which I works fine with my kernel 2.4.2. I upgraded the kernel to 2.4.19 and the ssytem detects the USB mouse by loading hid, mousedev.o . But the mouse doesn't work. I tried cat /dev/input/mice and moved the mouse. But I didnot see any output. I was expecting some garbage. I also tried with 2.5.24 kernel there also I have the same problem. (I upgarded to 2.4.19 and 2.5.24 to use USB 2.0 drivers ehci.o) Please help Thanks in advance Shino --- Rik van Riel <riel@conectiva.com.br> wrote: > Hi, > > due to a possible incompatibility between one of the > OPN admins soliciting money on a regular basis and > the > policies of the network where kernelnewbies.org is > hosted we have decided to move the #kernelnewbies > IRC > channel to another network. > > You will be able to find us on: > > irc.oftc.net / #kernelnewbies > > > Kernelnewbies is a project meant to help people > learn > about operating system development by providing > information > and operating a mailing list and IRC channel where > current > and future developers can help each other.
